25 Jul @ 9:30am
Informal, reflective service based on Celtic liturgy, followed by tea/coffee.
Thursdays 9.30---10 a.m. ish!
Where is it? Held in the Sanctuary at QPC, this is a short service of app
roximately 30 mins.
What is it? The service follows a pattern of readings and prayers according to the Celtic tradition and reflects the 4 Seasons and the changing Church calendar of Advent, Christmas, Lent. Easter and Pentecost.
Who does it? There is a rota of Bible Readings and Psalms and a different member of the group leads each week. They volunteer ( absolutely NO coercion!) well in advance and prepare a 10 minute reflection on the Bible passage.
And then? Afterwards we enjoy coffee/tea and biscuits---sometimes even cake!---at Hillstop. Spiritual food first, then food for the body next!!
THURSDAY is a very special day of the week for those of us who attend and we would love you to come and join us. You will be made so welcome. Contact the Church Office for more details.
28 Jul @ 10am
Children and families all join together for the first part of our all-age worship at 10am. Parents/carers can then take under 3s to the coffee lounge where our creche includes some short stories from the bible, whilst children aged 3 and over are meeting in the Queen Margaret Hall for an interactive time of learning through stories, crafts, activities and more. Everyone is then invited to come back into church for the end of the service, where we share a little of what we've been learning. Coffee, juice and biscuits are available after the service.
28 Jul @ 10am
Our lively worship service for people of all ages. Activities for pre-school and primary school children - Sundays@10 - get underway part way through the service in the Queen Margaret Hall, and a crèche is available in the coffee lounge from around 10.15am.
