Glory to God in the High Street!

During the Christmas Community Market organised by Queensferry Ambition on 20th and 21st December, the local churches formed an ad hoc choir to sing carols in the High Street for an hour on the afternoon of each day.

Passers by were surprised NOT to be asked for a donation - but were offered sweets instead! Those who lingered to listen, join in or chat were treated to a cracker of a joke in between carols from the choir’s own ‘town crier’.

It was great to be invited by QA to do this and it certainly added to the atmosphere. And the rain stayed off!
